More on the topic of male-female energy in bed. Women have the ability to use both sides of their brain at once. The way our brains are wired we can not only feel emotions but we can use the language centers in our heads simultaneously. Men can't!
It would stand to reason then that men have a more challenging time connecting their two heads and their heart. Most men learned sex alone in the privacy of their own rooms with nothing more than a book, video, or magazine to get them aroused. No one was there saying, "I love you. I adore you. You fill my heart with joy." One interesting side note is that I have worked with serveral premature ejaculators who had the same traumatic memory of being walked-in on by mom or someone else. The feeling of "gotta hurry it up now or someone might catch you" was buried in their psyches.
Most women, who are naturally predisposed to connecting with others on an emotional level, see sex as a natural outcome of love. The rush of hormones that happen during sex makes a woman more chemically bonded to a man she has slept with and that is why for most a break up can be akin to an addictive withdrawal. Ouch!
Just recently I was teaching a MateMagic class when this topic came up. In all the clients I have seen and all the stories (nothing shocks me anymore) involving sexuality not once have I heard the following,"Gee, I wish I had jumped into bed faster with that guy!" however I do routinely heard,"Why did I let it get physical so early on?"
Tapping through your inability to wait to sleep with someone can really be helpful. Sit with the question of, "Why wouldn't I want to wait?" For most it's fear. Fear that the other person might not wait, that they'll think I am a prude, that they'll stop trying, etc. Your real mate is going to wait no matter how long.
A woman can be patient as well with the man she choses as her partner when it comes to his lack of heart-penis connection. Understanding that he was originally wired differently and gently guiding him by expressing your feelings can allow him the possiblity to be able to do the same. Read some David Deida together is also a good place to start his education.
